Pedro J. Tort Saadé, MD, FAAOS, specializes in diagnosing and treating shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee injuries. He is Board Certified in both Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, and fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine and Minimally Invasive Joint Arthroplasty. He is an experienced expert in shoulder and knee arthroscopy, tendon and ligament surgery, shoulder and hip fracture treatment, knee, hip, and shoulder minimally invasive primary and revision arthroplasty, cartilage restoration, and joint preservation procedures.
As an expert with over 15 years of experience in orthopaedic sports medicine and joint arthroplasty, Dr. Tort’s primary goal is to pursue excellence in education and research. His portfolio includes multiple ongoing research projects, publications of several studies, and years of work as a consultant in educational development with numerous orthopaedic implant companies. He is also an experienced and recognized article reviewer for multiple top-ranked orthopedic journals. Dr. Tort is the first Puerto Rican participating as one of the elite orthopaedic surgeons in the United States to be part of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeon (ABOS) examiners. Dr. Tort is also a well-recognized international speaker at many orthopaedic conferences around the globe.
