Dr. Luciano A. Rossi graduated with honors from the University of Buenos Aires Argentina, and then completed his residency in orthopedics and traumatology at the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, Argentina where he then completed his fellowship in shoulder surgery. In addition, Dr. Rossi completed his training in Shoulder Surgery and Orthobiologics therapies at prestigious institutions in the United States and Europe, including the Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland), Hospital for Special Surgery (New York), Midwest Orthopedic at Rush (Chicago), Mayo Clinic (Florida),  and Center Orthopédique Santy (Lyon, France), and a fellowship in clinical research at the Department of Clinical Research and Documentation (AOCID) of the AO Foundation in (Dubendorf, Switzerland).

In addition, Dr. Rossi has an intense activity in clinical research, he has a doctorate in medicine, and a master’s degree in clinical research and has authored or co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed articles and has received more than 20 national and international awards for his research work carried out together with the shoulder team of the Italian Hospital of Buenos Aires.

Dr. Luciano Rossi is a reviewer and member of the AJSM Editorial Board and will be the Editor of the first Latin American Supplement to the AJSM.
